School of Physics is a unit of Directorate of Quality Management. The course is offered in collaboration with Kuvempu University, Karnataka which is approved by UGC, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to the M.Sc. Physics should have passed the examination of B.Sc. or B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. Agri. / B.Sc. Home Sc. or any degree in Science of this University or a degree of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto and passed the examination concerned are eligible to register his / her name for M.Sc. (Previous).

Note: Each paper is of 100 marks of which15 marks is for Internal Assessment and 85 for Theory. Practical is for 75 marks of which 65 is for Practical and 10 for Record.
